Welcome to my world of shopping. I love flea markets and have found several Sunday markets in Guadalajara. Two of them can be done on the same day. If you love antiques you will have a wonderful time at the antiques flea. It is located on a center strip of Avenida Mexico near Chapultepec. However, not everything you see is an antique. You need to know something about antiques. That being said, you just might find something you have to have and not worry if it is an antique. If you think the price is too high but would purchase it if it were somewhat less, try bargaining. It just might work. You need not go early to get to this flea market. Mid-morning is soon enough.

I don't suppose you spend much time hanging out at the mercado, huh? Of course, you don't speak Spanish. How silly of me. Well, too bad. But then you live in Ajijic and they don't have a mercado there, do they? More's the pity.
