Four years ago my wife, Reyna, and I opened our business in Plaza Bugambilias, Ajijic. It was something that made us very nervous at the time. We were afraid of failing and not being able to pay the rent. However, it was a wonderful success from the beginning. In our first week of sales, we made enough money to pay the rent for a whole year. That made everything a lot easier.
Since that first day, our business has been a great experience for us. We have made so many friends that it is impossible to name them all. Most of our clients have become our friends and for that we are so grateful.
We have had many art shows of good, local artists, and also some shows for artists that are internationally known. We celebrate the Day of the Dead every year, and we also create the Plaza Christmas Tree each year.
All of this has happened for four years in a row and now, our fourth anniversary is coming up. We are celebrating it on the 24th of October at 3:00 PM. We are celebrating the fact that we have made so many friends in only four years. So, please come and celebrate with us! We’ll also be officially opening our new space on the main floor of the Plaza.
For the people who don’t know what we do, this is a good time to come and see our frames, paintings and art supplies.
The past four years have gone by fast, but we are looking forward to the coming years. We promise we’ll do our best every time.
